Bound4blue is working on a unique renewable energy system for large vessels. It consists in the production of hydrogen and oxygen by means of electrolysis of seawater. The vessel is propelled by wind-driven wingsails, as water fills the ship’s turbines to produce mechanical energy, then transformed into electrical energy.
